Training
A 5 week introductory course is available to anyone with a puppy or new to dog under 12months old. Handlers and dogs will be introduced to the basic exercises of heel work, recall and stays. The costs of the course is £50 and is payable at the booking session which is held prior to the course starting to allow for a brief chat and the completion of required paperwork. You and your dog will undertake the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Award. Places have to be booked in advance to ensure spaces are available.
If your dog is over a year old we will pop your details on the list and once we have enough dogs (10) we will run an introductory course to suit the needs of the older dog.
We run 4 course's per year and these are always booked well in advance. Provisional dates for these are:
January/February February/March August/September October/November
Day and time of these course's vary so they will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Further classes are also available for pet handlers wishing to continue building upon the exercises learnt in the introductory course. These classes start with a 10 week Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award course costing £90 this includes a formal exam with an external examiner. Once this is completed you can then go on to undertake the Silver and Gold Awards within our weekly training classes. We are also happy to help anyone that may be interested in taking part in obedience competitions, training and guidance can be provided to ensure you get the best possible start within this sport.

Wednesday 7pm-8pm Improvers/Silver-Gold Award
Wednesday 8pm-9pm Bronze Award Course
Sundays 2pm-4pm Intro/Puppy Course's
We are a KC Listed Club and now offer the full range of Kennel Club Good Citizen's Awards from Puppy Foundation up to Gold Award.
